RHS Silver Medal

The show garden was designed to reflect the qualities of a 'bonnie burn', a pleasant meandering stream. As we all become increasingly aware of our impact on the environment, many of us wish to create a natural area in the garden, with a water feature to attract and preserve wildlife. The show garden demonstrated how this could be achieved taking inspiration from the Scottish landscape. Glacial boulders were used to construct the stream, nestled in an undulating meadow planted with Scottish wild flowers, evergreen grasses, and ferns.
