Why Design?

The Complete Design Service
- Initial consultation with Jill Blackwood who will present her portfolio and carry out an in-depth questionnaire and a full site survey.
- A further consultation with Jill who will present for discussion sketch ideas for your garden along with ideas for materials and a plant list. At this stage, changes and adjustments to the plans can be made.
- A site visit with a builder will then be arranged before advancing to the final plan stage.
- At a final consultation, Jill will present you with a copy of the sketch ideas and the final detailed scaled plan for your garden; which includes an illustration of the plants and an informative plant list detailing which plants will go where, how big the plants will grow, their season and colour. You will also receive a full estimate for the work to complete your dream garden.
The Budget Design Service
- Initial consultation with Jill Blackwood who will present her portfolio and carry out an in-depth questionnaire and a full site survey.
- A site visit with a builder will then be arranged to estimate costing of materials and labour.
- At a final consultation, Jill will present you with a copy of an outline scale plan for your garden and a suggested plant list. You will also receive a full estimate for the work to complete your dream garden.
Plant Plan Service
- Initial consultation with Jill Blackwood who will present her portfolio and carry out an in-depth questionnaire and a full site survey to define areas to be planted.
- A further consultation with Jill who will present you with a copy of a detailed plant plan for your garden. You will receive a full estimate for supplying and/or planting the plants.
If you have already carried out building work or simply want some advice on planting your existing garden, a plant plan by Jill Blackwood will provide the information you need to ensure colour and interest through the seasons in your garden. This service includes:

Construction
With over 30 years experience in the garden construction and landscaping industry, the builders Jill works with at Lakeside and Gardenezee have constructed all the gardens she has designed for clients over the last eight years.
